Week 4 (@Colts): W!!! (2-2) We’re back baby! #RaiderNation

After the tough loss in Minnesota last week the Raiders set out to their second of six consecutive weeks on the road to Indianapolis to face the Colts. Derek Carr starts out hot, as he often does. Completing 11 of 13 passes and a TD pass to rookie tight end Foster Moreau. The drive after that, newly acquired WR/ Kick returner Trevor Davis goes for a 60 yard touchdown on an end around truck play. 14-0 Raiders. A fuck up between Derek Carr and Josh Jacobs causes a fumble and the Colts recover and get to work with a short field. Vintage Vontaze Burfict head Hunter came out today which got him ejected. Hopefully not suspended. Late in the game Raiders were up 24-17 with about 5 minutes left, Colts just got the ball at the 20 after a punt. Jacoby Brisset doesn’t see the man, the myth, the legend, Erik Harris coming and he picks him off and takes it to the house, Raiders go up 31-17. That pick six, the Raiders first pic of the year, pretty much sealed the deal, although the Raiders did allow the Colts in the end zone another time, but then were able to get a first down and run out the clock and make things official. Overall I’m happy with the way things went today. It’s always good to win and really it was a pretty convincing win. Derek Carr looked sharp, Jacobs was running hard, would have liked to have seen more of Waller, Tyrell Williams had 3 big drops and one in the end zone, but overall not a bad day at the office and it’s good to be back at .500. Onto London to face our old friend Khalil Mack and the Bears, should be a good one.
